| I have lost or damaged my remote control | Please contact the helpline. |
| I have lost my manual | Please click here to search for manual you require. |
| I would like to wall mount my TV. What type of wall mount do I need | Many of our models can be mounted on a wall using a wall bracket. If you have a TV up to 22inch in size it will have 4 holes in the rear of TV for wall mounting. These 4 holes are set to a industry standard called ‘VESA’. The distance between the holes determines the size. For example, if there is 100mm between holes, you require a ‘VESA 100′ wall mount. IMPORTANT – Please refer to manual for the length of screws that you should use, using screws longer than this can cause irreparable damage to the television which is not covered under the manufacturers guarantee. |
| I have connected the TV to my VCR via SCART but it is not recording | In addition to connecting via SCART, you should connect the aerial cable from the wall socket to the VCR and another aerial cable from the VCR to the TV. |
| I am disappointed with the sound quality | Due to size limitations of LCD TV’s compared to the old conventional CRT type, it is not possible to increase the size of speakers used inside the TV. This is the same for all makes/brands of small screen LCD TV’s. (i.e. 15-23″ LCD TV) If you are dissatisfied with the sound quality, you can alter it slightly under the ‘sound’ settings menu by increasing the bass and decreasing the treble if desired. If you are still dissatisfied with the sound quality, on some models, you can connect external speakers using the Headphone or Audio out sockets on the TV (Where fitted) |
| TV says ‘No Sync’ | This means the TV is not receiving a signal on the input source currently being used. Check the connection of the device, i.e. DVD Player, to ensure the connecting cable is securely fastened, that the connected device is powered on and that the TV is in the correct ‘source’ mode. (i.e. SCART, HDMI etc) If in doubt, call the helpline as it is usually a connection problem as opposed to a fault with the TV. |
| DVB-T Questions | |
| I have tuned in the TV for the first time but I do not receive all the digital channels | This is because the signal strength the TV is receiving is not strong enough. You should use either a Rooftop or Loft Aerial capable of recieving a Digital Signal (i.e Hi Gain Aerial) We do not recommend the use of indoor aerials for use with DVB-T/Digital as they do not usually recieve a strong enough signal for Digital TV. Integrated Digital TV’s require a signal strength of 85% or higher. If you are recieving a signal strength of approx 65% – 80%, usually, connecting a Signal booster between the aerial outlet socket on the wall and the RF input on the TV can resolve this problem. If the signal strength is below 60%, you will need to upgrade your TV Aerial. 1) Try re-tuning as a second time extra channels can be found. 2) Purchase a signal booster to improve the signal strength available for £10-15 from most electrical retailers. 3) Consider purchasing an outdoor digital aerial (most indoor aerials are not as good as roof top/outdoor aerials) 4) Use the analogue part of the TV for now and wait until the digital signal becomes stronger in your area. (Currently, the Digital Signal is broadcast at only 20% of its capacity due to the analogue signal still being broadcast – this will increase dramatically in the run up to analogue signal switch off |
| I have tuned in the TV and some of channels are breaking up | |
| I have tuned in the TV but I am loosing the picture or sound for short periods | |
| I have a DVB-T box that works fine so why doesn’t my TV with built-in DVB-T not | All DVB-T boxes have a built-in boosters, however due the size of these TVs they do not include a built-in booster. |

(On some models it is possible to change it but it may be a permanent/once only change) |
| The DVD player worked fine, but now it has been put on the wall it doesn’t work | This may have been caused by the wall mounting process where the screws used to attach the wall mounting bracket are too long and have come into contact with internal parts of the TV.
